This was the first preview night for “Frightening Fashion Show”. I think there were as many adults (possibly more) than children. I took pics with my iphone when I wasn’t giving my annual speech about “what’s inside my head”. Most people want to know…Ha! I usually just tell people that I’m the love child of Erma Bombeck and Alfred Hitchcock. Gosh I love my camera heads…
Some guys in a tricked-out truck stopped to admire my flaming skulls…No doubt they had use for them beyond Halloween. Personally, I think one would look great hanging off my front door. Hey, there might even be a market out there for those wishing to deter unwanted knockers. Kinda like a really punctuated “do not disturb!!!” sign 😉
Lots of helpers today. Kids & Mom working on toys and the Halloween golf cart. Don’t ya just love a skeleton in a blue feather boa? The Devil and his “dog” Archibald stopped by to make sure the runway was getting ready for his fashion models…
This (when completed) will be an arch over the model runway. I always like to have a big visual attached to the house that folks can see on a drive-by. I get a lot of “pre-lookers” making sure “The Queen” is up to her yearly shenanigans. I do find, as I age, my knees aren’t what they used to be… and that’s where the visiting kids help becomes hugely important. They want to help…actually fight over helping…and it allows me to sit back, watch and have a giggle.
What’s a Freaky Fashion Show without the photographers…And, since it’s Halloween…they are Camera Heads!
