Dorothy Virginia 1923 – 2010
God Speed Mama. We LOVE you!
What though the radiance which was once so brightBe now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind.

My beautiful Grandmother…
A shining star in our eyes
Her legacy lives on
in the hearts of those
who love her.

Peace and love to you and your family. I can tell that ‘Momma’ was a special and beautiful lady that raised very talented and loving children. That’s her best legacy. God speed…

That was beautiful. She was beautiful. As a younger woman, she really did look like a movie star. Her hair! I could see your face in hers, too. And I loved the last few photos of her, with her hair short. She seemed to be wearing colorful textiles. You could still see her beauty.
